The Eco series HDTV are coming to market, that is they're being shown in a New York City hotel. Engadget reports that the 42, 47 and 52-inch sizes of the Eco Sets use proprietary dimming technology to save energy.
Last January at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) the Eco FlatTV™ took top honors, winning overall "Best in Show."
Eco TVs have lead-free components and flame retardant materials, which are safe to the environment.
