If you loved your Sidekick, then T-Mobile has a new sleek phone to meet your needs. The T-Mobile Dash was designed to be appealing to the people who loved the Sidekick. This phone has been rubberized, rounded and better fit for being placed in your pocket. This phone works great for emailing and has Wi-Fi capabilities; you can also view documents with the office software. The phone doesn’t let you edit documents. The keyboard has tiny buttons that can make it hard to type on if you are not used to them.
There is a lot of entertainment software available on the T-Mobile Dash. There is a media player and a microSD expansion slot. This will allow you to add music from your computer to your phone via this expansion slot with the purchase of an external memory card. The battery, when tested in the lab, will last for 10 hours. Calls can be heard loud and clear. There is no on-screen dial pad so you are unable to dial the digits by their letter alternatives. Even with this downfall, this phone is a strong contender with all the PDAs on the market.

I had the tmobile dash and liked it. That is, until it went haywire and overheated melting a lipstick in my purse.
Under warranty and got it replaced only to have it malfunction and die yet again.
I am not a fan. And, now I am usign and loving the new G1 from Tmobile.

MY FIANCE HAS THE DASH... HE IS WORKING ON HIS 3RD ONE. IT IS A NICE PHONE W/ A LOT OF PRODUTIVITY OPTIONS. BUT THE BATTERY LIFE SUCKS. WE HAVE HAD 3 OF THE PHONES ALREADY AND EACH TIME THEY HAVE GONE OUT FOR THE SAME REASON. IT WILL JUST STOP HOLDING A CHARGE. NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE IT ON THE CHARGER IT WILL NOT WORK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

This is a horrible phone! I went through 4 in 5 months. Kept freezing on me and turning itself off even with a full battery. My husband has one now (bought the same time i got mine) and has the exact same issues. DONT BUY!!
